Collection: ANDALUSITE
Andalusite is named after the region in Spain where it was first discovered over 2,000 years ago. It varies in color from light yellowish-brown to greenish-brown and may also appear in shades such as brownish-pink, deep green, and grayish-green. This stone is highly pleochroic, meaning it shows different colors when viewed from different angles. This unique quality has earned Andalusite the nickname “poor man’s alexandrite.
